Honest limits
Ankayma marks unfinished edges rather than hiding them. The current ones:
- Platform maturity. Bringing the tunnel up is most mature on macOS. Other desktop platforms and mobile are catching up; where a platform has a rough edge, the relevant page says so.
- Admin control plane. Much of the team-admin surface — audit ledger, enrollment approval, the full admin role model — is designed but not fully built. Those pages are marked partial or roadmap.
- No public API yet. Automation goes through the CLI. See API.
- Relay fallback. When direct peer-to-peer isn’t possible, an encrypted relay can carry traffic; the path chain shows when this happens. It’s the exception, not the norm.
- Email-root recovery. Signing in without GitHub roots your space in email, which is a little weaker; recovery needs a vendor step. See Sign in.
